The PADAG project targets support to some 55,000 households or an approximate total of 360,000 people located in Pole G, in western Guinea. It aims to support agricultural activity in the rice, oil palm and horticulture sectors. The project also includes components for capacity building, agricultural production processing and the rehabilitation of 270 km of roads and tracks linking Dabola, Faranh, Kissidougou Kourousssa, Kankan and Mandiawa. The project has a total budget of more than 30 million USD. Following the coup d'état in 2021, the project was suspended.
The activities are as follows:
A global approach that integrates with technical, financial and economic data, taking into account a reasoned management of natural resources for a better preservation of the environment
