The main objective of the mission was to provide the client with auditing services for 3 palm oil production complexes (Lokutu, Yaligimba and Boteka) located in DRC. Two field missions were undertaken in order to identify technical and financial problems, and to analyze whether the recommendations were followed.
The company consists of 3 palm oil production complexes each consisting of a palm plantation and a processing plant following this model:
The audit included the analysis of 3 complexes that underwent rehabilitation as they were aging. Three components, which are agriculture, factory/processing and administration-finance were studied in order to :
The main objective of the first field mission was to identify problems and propose recommendations. The second field mission continued the work done during the first mission.
It was determined whether the recommendations were well understood by the local staff and whether they were well followed. The deliverables consist of detailed reports submitted to the client.
